A chemical reaction occurs when the foam components are mixed, causing the material to expand and lift the concrete to the desired height. This foam fills any voids beneath the slab and remains permanent and stable, as it never loses density. Weighing only about 2 pounds per cubic foot, it is a lightweight yet durable solution.
